The association ‘Musik und Kunst in Hafenpreppach e.V.’ was founded in mid-July 2019 in Hafenpreppach. It is a non-profit organization with the aim to promote education and culture. This goal is primarily realized by:
- Promotion, organisation and support of concerts and cultural events,
- Promotion, organisation and support of art exhibitions,
- Training and further education of people interested in music with a view to the performance of primarily chamber music activities (e.g. by organising and supporting chamber music courses and master classes),
- Lectures, discussion forums and ‘Artists in Residence’ programmes to impart knowledge, e.g. from the fields of fine arts, music literature, instrumental studies and didactics,
- Promotion of youth work.
Membership in the association is open to everyone. Supporting memberships are also appreciated.
