The upcoming concerts

  • Saturday, 25 September 2021, 6:00 p.m., Tambach Castle Church The Tilia Quartett of the Staatskapelle Berlin plays string quartets by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (KV464 in A major) and Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy (D major, Opus 44.1)

 

  • Sunday, December 19, 2021 (Fourth of Advent), 5:00 p.m., Schloss Tambach Church.
    The Linden Springs of the Staatskapelle Berlin will perform a concert with string quintet or string sextets in a pre-Christmas setting on the 4th of Advent. More details about the program will be announced soon.

 

  • Saturday, March 12, 2022, venue to be announced.
    Under the direction of Professor Gregor Witt, principal oboist of the Staatskapelle Berlin, the Wind Ensemble of the Staatskapelle Berlin will make a guest appearance with a dozen musicians. The program includes rarely performed chamber music for wind ensemble by Richard Strauss.

 

  • Pentecost Sunday, July 5, 2022, 5:00 p.m., Tambach Castle Church.
    The internationally acclaimed string quartet of the Staatskapelle Berlin will perform works by Joseph Haydn, Franz Schubert, and Arnold Schoenberg as part of a celebratory concert to conclude the concert series. We are delighted that the musicians are making up for the concert that was cancelled in March 2020 due to Corona.
